Michael McMillan, MD, is a dedicated family physician who enjoys helping families with their medical care needs and achieving their health goals. With over 37 years of experience in patient care, Dr. McMillan has treated a variety of conditions and provides wonderful medical insight into family medicine and pediatrics.
Education plays an important part in Dr. McMillan’s professional understanding of family care needs. He began his studies at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado before completing his medical science education from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.
He eventually earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado before pursuing further educational opportunities, taking part in a residency program for family medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. McMillian is a board-certified physician from the American Board of Family. Currently, he works as a hospitalist at Littleton Adventist Hospital, as well as specializing in addiction medicine, behavioral and mental health at Colorado Family Clinic.
When he’s not helping families achieve their health goals, Dr. McMillan loves spending quality time with his family, playing golf and enjoying his season ticket for the Colorado Rockies.
