Claire Hardin, DNP, FNP-C, is a compassionate family nurse practitioner who finds great happiness in helping families with their medical care and healing journeys. During her time as a nurse practitioner, she has observed a broad variety of conditions and environments, which has helped her to understand how to provide the best patient care.
Education plays a central role in shaping Mrs. Hardin’s passion for nursing. She began her studies at Westminster Schools of Augusta before earning her bachelor degree in anthropology and environmental science from Sewanee: The University of the South, as well as her nursing education from Yale University.
After working in emergency medicine for four years, she went on to pursue further educational opportunities, eventually earning her Doctor of Nursing from Quinnipiac University and achieving the honorary Trewin award for leadership. She also took part in a fellowship training program for emergency medicine and child abuse.
Mrs. Hardin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP). Her professional experiences include working in emergency medicine at Yale’s New Haven Health and Bridgeport Hospital, as well as critical care at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
A lifelong learner and traveler, she also participated in global health projects in Nicaragua, Uganda and Haiti, where her experiences with diverse environments and conditions have helped her to better understand patient care.
